Straight away, a tow truck and a car was dispatched to come for us at 12 o’clock at night after waiting 5 hours for the RAC to finally say they couldn’t help Us. We had an extremely difficult, time-sensitive towing request over a weekend involving a large van that many recovery companies were unable to accommodate. I contacted 17 different companies before finally finding this one, and they were able to help us at very short notice the same day on the weekend. They first transported the van to an event so that we could avoid cancelling on our customers, then returned the following day to recover it from the event and take it directly to the repair shop the next day which was a Sunday and is historically very hard for me to find a tow company that can help us those days. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and I was kept informed every step of the way. Their willingness to help, reliability, and professionalism genuinely saved our event from being cancelled. We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to use them again.Posted on Google

LT27 June 2026Traveling to pistons and pints rally on my vn 2000 stopped for petrol at Hartshead service's east on the M62 and bike wouldn't start (turned out to be a fried starter solenoid) contacted s.m. recovery and explained the situation, found them to be really efficient and they turned up on the time also they were easy to contact throughout. After rescuing my daughter and her cousin (and leaving dad there … we aren’t ‘together’!) … I offered to help with recovery and these were the first number I called when safely back home. Absolutely outstanding service, wasn’t even expecting anyone to answer the mobile number I dialled at 11am on a Sunday morning … but they did! Really helpful, advising me what I needed to do to arrange the pick up, and communicated so well with both myself and the stranded driver. I spoke to her dad after he had been safely recovered and vehicle transported back to his home address, and he also reflected the outstanding service he had received. Broken down on a country lane in Knutsford, recovery required, Cammy and his brother were on hand. From start to finish a fast and efficient service was given- with me in under 45mins (AA quoted me 4-5hrs having already sat 2.5hrs for someone to attend). Originally booked in to recover to my home address I requested at the last minute to have my van dropped to Vauxhall Lookers, Ellesmere Port. This wasn’t a problem with Cammy then driving a further five miles to drop me to my home address at 2:30am. Something he didn’t have to do but did so without hesitation. On dropping me Cammy told me if I needed any further advice or help with the repairs all I had to do is reach out via the WhatsApp conversation we’d used earlier. Again something he didn’t have to do! I can honestly say I’ve never experienced such great service from a recovery company in all my time driving (32yrs)!Posted on Google

Once I had booked a mechanic they arrived within 40 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the car running in about 15 minutes.
